Broccoli Chicken Alfredo Meal Prep in a Jar

   Put into quart size canning jar.  To keep for extended period of time, add an oxygen absorber to the jar only to keep it fresh.  (You can also use an empty Pantry size can, but the oxygen absorber won’t keep it fresh as the seal is not tight enough).    For best value, buy ingredients during our Black Friday or Spring Sales!  Spring sale will start April 19, 2018 until 11:59 PM MST on 4/23/2018, but I can put your order in on the 18th for you if you send me your ahead of that date! Instructions

  • When you’re ready to cook…
    Place the contents of the jar in a saucepan with 4 cups of cold water. Then let it sit in the water for 8 minutes, before turning on the stove. (This step is really important to allow the big pieces of chicken time to soak up the water. You could also use Thrive Chopped Chicken instead, it will cut down on the time needed to refresh. If you use the larger pieces and skip this step, you might end up with dry bites of chicken and you will be disappointed!) 
    Bring to a boil on the stove, then turn it down to medium/low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.  When noodles are cooked, it is ready to serve!
