The history of Thrive Life

Jason & Lindsay Budge met Steve & Amy Palmer while going to college. They didn’t immediately realize the great and enduring partnership they would form, but they both felt the need to prepare for the future. The two families had always believed that the keys to happiness are self reliance and the balance of life’s priorities, including education, healthy diet, physical fitness, financial independence, family, and faith in God. However, there was something important missing in their goal of self reliance: a good supply of provisions to prepare for hardships or emergencies. The problem? They didn’t know how to start or what to store for a long term food supply.

In the summer of 2004, Jason and Steve felt a great responsibility to solve this problem. They were facing difficult decisions and challenges—including Lindsay staying in the hospital for 3 months before their birth to save their twin daughters − and they felt they could no longer wait to help everyone become self-reliant.  They turned down wonderful opportunities, took the leap of faith, and started Thrive Life.

Thrive Life has developed food rotation products which make food storage and organization manageable. The company also developed a line of food with over 90 super quality, delicious foods. While the decades of shelf life for the food makes it the best solution for long-term food storage, the convenience and great flavor of this easy-to-use food make the perfect ingredients for everyday meal preparation and best nutrition.
